Raid Of Allentown Man's Home Yields Heroin, Guns, Police Say

An Allentown man was arrested Thursday morning after detectives seized drugs, guns, and more during a raid of his home, authorities said.

The search warrant was served at 46-year-old James Rodriguez's home in the 400 block of North 8th Street, Allentown police said.

The search yielded an unspecified amount of heroin, marijuana, pills, three loaded firearms, drug packing material, digital scales, and an unspecified amount of cash, according to Allentown police.

Rodriguez was charged with person not to possess, use manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms, possession with intent to deliver, simple possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

He was sent to Lehigh County Jail after failing to post $75,000 bail, according to court records.

His preliminary hearing is set for Nov. 10, court records show.
